Schools Commission of the Archdiocese of Southwark
We are retained by the Schools Commission of the Archdiocese of Southwark to provide design, contract administration and CDM Co-ordinator services on their portfolio of primary and secondary schools throughout Kent and the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark.
We have carried out a large number of planned maintenance contracts such as re-roofing, window replacements, re-wiring, boiler renewals and updating fire alarm systems.
Our work has also included many re-development projects such as classroom extensions, major alterations, and the re-modelling of school buildings and playgrounds ranging up to £1.3m in contract value.
Our experience with Voluntary Aided schools has enabled us to secure additional Department for Education and Skills (DfES) funding for many of our clients.
We regularly prepare and submit bids for grant aided funding, on behalf of individual schools, and have also prepared Targeted capital funding bids to the DfES, on behalf of Local Education Authorities.
To date we have been successful in securing bid allocations in excess of £3m in value.
