Barnetts Road
Faithorn Farrell Timms was commissioned by West Kent Housing Association to develop two under-used car parking areas to provide five new build houses in the historic village of Leigh, near Tonbridge, Kent.
The approach to the design needed to be particularly sympathetic and a number of schemes were prepared for consideration by the Local Authority and residents before the overall design was finally agreed.
Additionally the scheme involved the demolition of one existing property and widening of a road junction to enhance vehicular access.
The contract value was £673,000, which was let under the JCT Standard Form of Contract with Contractor's Design.
