Faithorn Farrell Timms was appointed by Amicus Horizon to provide full Design, Contract Administration and CDM Co-ordinator services, for the refurbishment of 17 retirement bungalows in Hastings, East Sussex.
The scheme entails the complete refurbishment of the existing 1970s bungalows to transform them from their dilapidated condition to modern housing stock, available for sale on the open market as part of a larger scheme to regenerate the area.
The proposed works to an individual property includes replacement of roof coverings, and kitchens and bathrooms, renewal of interior doors, installation of new floor coverings, interior redecoration and associated repairs, rewiring and replacement of heating systems, windows and external doors, and extensive landscaping works.
The contract value is anticipated to be in excess of £500,000.
This scheme is the latest in a series of major refurbishments we are undertaking, in association with Amicus Horizon.
