Kent Police
Faithorn Farrell Timms was appointed by Kent Police to undertake condition surveys of a large number of their stations, to capture the condition data required, which would inform a planned maintenance strategy over a 30 year period and populate their asset management database.
We worked closely with our client to establish a survey methodology and tailored the project to suit their specific requirements. A consistent reporting format was adopted, to allow direct comparisons to be drawn between the performances of different sites. These comparisons will assist our client in making strategic investment decisions, based on the predictions made for the replacement of building components, and mechanical and electrical installations.
The building stock covered ranged from stone built converted properties, dating back to the mid 1800s, to modern purpose built concrete framed structures.
A dedicated survey team was assembled for the project, with overall supervision and responsibility being assumed by a Partner of the Practice.
