Countrywide Surveyors – Coast and Country Housing
Faithorn Farrell Timms worked successfully with Countrywide Surveyors, to undertake a valuation of housing stock belonging to Coast and Country Housing. We undertook the condition survey element to a 10% sample of the stock, culminating in 1,100 property inspections.
The surveys were carried out over a five week survey period in the Redcar and Cleveland Boroughs, in the North East of England, during June and July 2008. Data was collected electronically by means of ECMK’s Pocket Surveyor, with the information loaded into Integrator for analysis and interrogation.
The survey data collected included backlog repairs, future planned maintenance, energy data, and health and safety information in respect of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS). Assessments of compliance with the Decent Home Standard (DHS) were also made from the data captured by the surveyors.
The project was managed from our Gateshead office and is the second such project we have undertaken with Countrywide Surveyors.
