The Hyde Village Estate
Faithorn Farrell Timms was commissioned to assist with the undertaking of a stock transfer for Hyde Northside Homes.
Acting as Client Adviser, we were able to re-assign over 100 properties on The Grove and Hyde Village Estates from Islington Council.
We were also responsible for the roles of both CDM Co-ordinator and Employer's Agent, overseeing the internal and external refurbishments that were required to bring the properties up to The Decent Homes Standard.
The work included the installation of new kitchens and bathrooms, covering electrical and rewiring repairs, and an upgrade of the showers and heating systems. Additional renovations included new windows, flat to pitch roof conversions, new door entry systems, improved refuse facilities and re-landscaping to allow the construction of children's play areas.
The project took three years to complete and the overall contract value was £22m.
