Faithorn Farrell Timms has embraced the role of CDM Co-ordinator and is frequently commissioned by Local Authorities, ALMOs, charities and Registered Providers, together with many housebuilder and developer clients under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.
We employ a dedicated team of health and safety professionals who have a comprehensive knowledge of the relevant legislation and industry best practice.
We take full control of every CDM-related element of a project, from review of initial scheme design through to preparation of a user-friendly health and safety file prior to Practical Completion.
Our health and safety team is also able to provide additional related services including but not limited to:
- Production of RAMS
- Site inspections/audits
- Fire risk assessments
- Asbestos management
- Health and safety consultancy
- Accreditation assistance
- Development of integrated health and safety management systems
In addition to the above services, the Practice is a Registered Training Provider under the British Safety Council (BSC) and is therefore able to provide training courses and seminars on a wide range of topics including the BSC Level 1 Award in Health and Safety at Work.
As a multi-disciplinary Practice, Faithorn Farrell Timms offers both standalone health and safety services and can work in an integrated capacity alongside our Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors or any other of our professional disciplines.
We have gone through rigorous procedures to ensure we excel in the role of CDM Co-ordinator. As testament to this, we are Corporate Members and a Registered Practice of the Association for Project Safety (APS), a Registered Member of the BSC and Accredited CDM Co-ordinators and Designers with CHAS.
The practice recently won an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council. All of our procedures and documentation have been produced in accordance with the BSI OHSAS ISO 18001, which we obtained in 2012.
Our CDM Co-ordinator team is led by Shane Jeeves and David Hallamore, who have over forty years’ experience in the construction industry.
