Many of our social housing clients have now realised the benefits of a robust stock rationalisation strategy to allow a greater focus on their core resident communities and enable more efficient management of their assets.  The disposal of remote and widely dispersed housing stock not only generates additional funds for reinvestment but also enhances their ability to provide a consolidated and more local management service to their residents.

    Stock condition surveys, lifecycle analysis, active asset management and NPV analysis to aid the decision-making process.

  • Financial appraisals, package assembly and pre-marketing due diligence

    Valuations, portfolio selection, options appraisals and lot assembly.

  • Marketing and Agency

    Soft market testing, preparation of sale particulars, online data portal management, competitive tendering process, bidder quality evaluation and selection.

  • Transaction Management

    Dedicated project management and co-ordination with our clients’ operational teams, resident consultation guidance, Local Authority liaison and obtaining regulatory consents.

  • Completion and handover

  • Faithorn Farrell Timms can also commission specialist legal and financial advisors with whom we have particular experience of working in this field or work alongside your existing or preferred advisors to achieve your objectives within any given timescale.

    We have supported Southern Housing Group, London & Quadrant Housing Trust, The Hyde Group, Worthing Homes Ltd and The Home Group in facilitating recent stock rationalisation exercises, resulting in both disposals and acquisitions, with our ability to maximise value for our client by steering the entire process from start to finish, or act on their behalf just on some parts of it, contributing to the success of these.
