Our staff specialise in delivering high quality professional and contract consultancy services to Local Authorities, ALMOs and Housing Associations, schools, colleges and universities, as well as many private landlords and developers throughout the UK.
We are currently engaged as either Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent on a number of large urban regeneration and major repair schemes, and are able to provide construction cost advice on all building types and across all forms of contract.
The Practice also manages on-going responsive and cyclical repairs, and planned maintenance programmes, for major social housing clients – a number of which have retained our services for many years.
Faithorn Farrell Timms is also able to support and manage large stock transfers from Local Authorities, undertake life cycle costing to determine future maintenance liabilities and assess their existing stock for Decent Home Standard compliance.
We provide our clients with a tailored asset management strategy for their re-investment programmes. Using the latest data collection software, we can provide our clients with a full breakdown of their stock, with proposals for the most suitable programme of works, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable solutions that will benefit their long term regeneration plans.
The Practice undertakes OJEU procurement, advises on PFI and Partnering initiatives and delivers a wide range of strategic procurement advice in accordance with our client’s individual budgets and project timescales.
We are regularly commissioned to undertake Schedules of Dilapidations, Party Wall Surveys, Right to Light Surveys, defects analysis and DDA audits on a range of building types, and are able to provide Expert Witness and Partnering Adviser services in-house.
Our staff can also undertake full measured surveys and produce scale drawings for any type of building together with feasibility studies, costed proposals for improvements and alterations, planning applications, detailed specifications, tender reports and on-site quality inspections, etc.
