Technical Advisers
We currently provide, on behalf of Southern Housing Group, a technical surveying service to approximately 5,000 homes in their Thames Gateway Region.
Through a dedicated team of Project Managers, Surveyors and Property Inspectors we provide pre and post-work inspections, void property works schedules and a full contract monitoring service.
We also deal with aids and adaptations work, involving Feasibility Studies and liaison with Local Authority occupational therapists.
Our surveyors deal with Party Wall Matters, legal disrepair issues, insurance claims, specialist surveys, Feasibility Studies, options appraisals and recommend estate improvements to tackle anti-social behaviour.
We have adopted a Partnering approach, which provides our client with the convenience of a directly-employed in-house resource, and the benefit of greater capacity and improved response times, together with professionally qualified and experienced staff on call.
We have a direct intranet link to the client's ArcHouse IT system allowing us to receive internal works requests, and raise direct orders to contractors on-line through their Schedule of Rates arrangements.
Added value is provided to the commission by monitoring the performance of the maintenance contractors, benchmarking this against the experience of other clients and advising on alternative procurement options.
