The Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG) is a London borough in Southeast London. The council provides vital services including housing, education, social care and community support to their 25,000 leaseholders and tenants. RBG’s focus is on improving the quality of life and opportunities for all residents.
The project
The programme included roof covering renewals, replacement windows and doors, loft and cavity wall insulation, electrical upgrades, boiler replacements, ventilation improvements and associated repairs across properties throughout the estate.
Given the scale of the programme and the range of work streams involved, the client required independent quality assurance to provide confidence that works were being delivered to the required standards before handover.

FFT provided independent quality inspections and Clerk of Works support throughout delivery.
Our team undertook regular site inspections, monitored workmanship, reviewed completed installations, identified defects and snagging items, and verified that works were completed in accordance with project requirements. We worked closely with both the client and contractor to ensure quality remained a priority throughout the programme.
