Paul leads FFT’s Potters Bar office and brings over 35 years’ experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor, supporting clients across the commercial, residential, and public sectors.
He provides specialist advice in contract administration, defect diagnosis including latent defect investigation, cladding and fire-related matters, insurance-led claims, housing disrepair and party wall matters. Paul’s work is characterised by a pragmatic, risk-aware approach, helping clients manage liability and deliver projects efficiently.
Paul has provided expert professional opinion in support of legal and insurance cases, drawing on skills established since qualifying as a Chartered Loss Adjuster (ACILA) in 1997. His combined surveying and insurance expertise enables him to operate effectively at the interface of construction, claims, and dispute resolution.
Since 2017, Paul has managed a range of projects for the Royal Albert Hall, including public realm works such as the installation of commemorative ‘star’ plaques, the preparation of a substantial feasibility report for £10 million of planned works, comprehensive condition reporting of the building and services, detailed roof investigations, and the delivery of targeted repair projects.
He has also successfully delivered major residential estate improvements for Southern Housing, including the redevelopment of a former garage site at Stepney Green to provide eight award‑winning family homes, alongside a £12 million scheme delivering large‑scale communal landscape transformation and a new block of 76 residential apartments.
