Ben has over 15 years’ experience within the construction industry. A Chartered Building Surveyor, he has a respected background in project management and contract administration, managing all aspects of pre- and post-contract delivery for housing, local authority and education sector clients across new build construction, mixed use and mixed tenure housing projects and commercial schemes.
Ben’s vast client-side experience has led to him developing a valuable understanding of end user needs and challenges, making him well placed to strategically plan and deliver multifaceted, specialist projects that align with clients’ individual policies and strategies.

Ben is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has worked on a number of high profile projects, including the management of refurbishment works to various scheduled monuments and listed buildings where he took the helm in gaining approvals from local conservation offices and Historic England.
Ben has also amassed specific expertise in the education sector, delivering projects ranging from new classroom blocks to laboratories, commercial kitchens, student accommodation and external refurbishments.
Other career highlights include working on the development of specialist food laboratories; the replacement of a university campus district heating system, and the construction of a commercial greenhouse funded by Expanding Excellence in England.
