Lynn Bekir

Associate

Lynn has been with the Practice since 2013. An expert in procurement management, she provides specialist advice and support to our social housing clients to ensure the procurement of their contracts falls in line with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.

For ten years before joining the Practice, Lynn worked for a social housing provider, holding roles including Housing Officer, Lettings Officer and Leasehold Manager. Through these roles, Lynn was exposed to all aspects of housing management, and this first-hand experience has equipped her with an in-depth understanding of client-side needs and challenges.

Lynn’s specialist expertise lies within the end to end procurement of long term contracts and multi-lot frameworks, together with the management of leasehold issues that typically arise during the procurement process, and general leasehold management and consultation.

Lynn works on a range of projects which vary in size, scale and complexity and cover all types of work streams, including estate services, responsive repairs and voids, gas and fire safety servicing, fire remedial works, cyclical decoration and planned works. With the scope of the projects often proving complex and regularly constituting multimillion pound contracts that run over several years, Lynn will engage in a high level of interaction with clients, as well as their residents and other key stakeholders.

A Chartered Member of the Institute of Housing since 2018, Lynn is also an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and a Corporate Member of Women in Social Housing.
