The Opportunity
We’re seeking a proactive and commercially minded Senior Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is a key role where you’ll lead on diverse projects, manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the strategic growth of our Building Surveying division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client relationships, identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing ones.
- Provide expert advice and support to Partners and colleagues.
- Prepare and submit compelling tender submissions.
- Mentor and supervise graduate surveyors, overseeing their development and project delivery.
- Contribute to team training and development, sharing technical and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure compliance with QA, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.
- Deliver monthly project progress reports and collaborate on fee planning.
- Drive business development and cross-disciplinary referrals.
What We’re Looking For
- MRICS status with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A flexible, enthusiastic, and professional approach.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated team player with leadership potential.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
